Ryan Speier amassed a professional playing career that spanned 12 years and two continents. With 4 seasons at the Major League level and a year overseas in Japan, Speier has shared the field with elite players across the globe, while receiving instruction from some of the most distinguished coaches the game has known.

Throughout the duration of his playing career and since retirement, Coach Speier has remained actively involved in teaching the game to the next generation.
Speier's first team coaching stint came with his alma mater, Radford University (NCAA Division-I), where he served as a Student-Assistant Coach for the RU Highlanders. Under his guidance, the 2013 Highlanders went on to win 30 games - at the time, just the 3rd season in school history that Radford had reached the 30-win milestone.
Coach Speier has provided team, group, and individual instruction for all ages, youth through college, at a number of baseball camps, clinics, and showcases across the country. Since his 2012 transition from player to full-time coach, Speier has already seen eight players under his tutelage rise into the professional ranks.
On December 19, 2009, Ryan married the former Erin Mahoney. The couple welcomed their son, Grant, on 12/2/14, and their daughter, Finley, on 9/25/17. The Speier family resides in Bixby, OK.
